So what's in a name?

I think I have landed on her name being Eleanor May Rosslynn Patten

I will call her Ellie-May for short.

Ellie-May of Hebrew origin means "God is my light" or "God is my candle."

Eleanor of Hebrew origin having the same meaning.

Eleanor being a established name by Eleanor Rossevelt and the Queen of France.

Rosslynn is a beautiful sir name made feminine.    Lynn being dear to me because of my grandmother makes this name even more meaningful.  Ross being her daddy's middle name will show her that she belongs to him and his family as well.

May being the month that her dad and I met in the year 2017.  That gives her name a fun twist.

Patten being her last name to show her that she has another heritage on her mother's side.  That both maternal parents carry.

I think this name is beautiful.  It will give her a sense of where she came from.   Which builds confidence in a child to adulthood.   It will grow with her.   If she became a political figure or a lawyer she could use Eleanor in her adult years.

There is also a Beatles song made just for her name about Eleanor Roosevelt.

So what's in a name?   If you ask me this about covers it.
